“I enjoyed the extra hikes to Montaña Waynapicchu and the Sun Gate when in the Machu Picchu area; I feel like the effort it took us to reach the tops made the views much more worth it and I enjoyed learning the history behind them. It was worth the time spent walking with a guide because I would not have learned the information that I did without them and I feel that is a vital part of our experiences. It was nice to have someone know where we were and should be going next in order to make it a well-rounded trip.
